Master station: A. Kalyvas and C. Koutsarnakis
A stepwise exploration of the white matter beneath the lateral cerebral surface. Following the master-station demonstration, participants continue dissection of the prepared hemispheres and examine the morphology, direction and spatial relationships of the major association and projection pathways. Participants develop a three-dimensional understanding of the pathways and use it to reason through surgical corridors, the direction of resection and functional boundaries.
