We design, install and operate the audiovisual infrastructure required to film a real surgical procedure as it happens — broadcast-grade cameras, jib arms, light-handle POV, surgeon body cams, and direct medical-device feeds, all converging into a calibrated mixing desk steps away from the sterile field. Our crews are trained for aseptic protocols, work with a deliberately small footprint, and deliver a feed that does not just show the wound — it lets a remote audience see what the surgeon sees, hear what the surgeon says, and follow every clinical decision in real time.
Medical Image Capture & Modality Integration
Modern surgery is itself a multi-screen live production: the surgeon already navigates between an endoscopic stack, a microscope, a fluoroscope, a navigation system, an ultrasound and a robotic console. Our role is to capture every one of those signals at its native resolution and colour space, pass each through clinical-grade converters that preserve diagnostic fidelity, and bring them all onto a single mixing fabric where they can be displayed individually, side-by-side or as picture-in-picture compositions. The remote viewer sees exactly what the surgeon sees — nothing more, nothing less, nothing degraded.

Live Streaming to Every Platform
A modern medical broadcast does not live on one channel. The same case may need to reach a closed surgical society on a private portal, an open audience on YouTube and Facebook, a sponsor’s branded app, a satellite feed for a partner hospital, and a peer-to-peer videoconference with a single proctor on the other side of the world. We deliver all of those simultaneously from a single mix, with the right encoding, the right encryption, and the right level of access control on each route — and we do it without ever degrading the master feed.
Recording, Archive & On-Demand Distribution
A live broadcast is half of the value; the other half is what happens to the recording afterwards. Every camera and every modality feed is recorded in parallel at native resolution. The mixed master is preserved at broadcast quality. Within hours of the case ending, the surgical team has access to the full archive — and within days, an edited, chapter-marked, fully metadata-tagged teaching module is available on the society’s, the hospital’s or the manufacturer’s VOD platform, with the access controls and the accreditation logic the client requires.

What separates a good medical broadcast from an unforgettable one is the infrastructure underneath. Our entire signal chain is built on the Blackmagic Design ecosystem — BMD Studio 6K Pro Broadcast cameras, BMD Micro Studio Camera 4K G2, ATEM Constellation 4K switchers, SmartView monitoring, Hyperdeck Pro 4K recording, DaVinci Resolve grading and Blackmagic Cloud for collaborative review — running on a native SMPTE ST 2110 IP fabric with PTP timing, transported over 50G optical fibre between sites. This is the architecture used by international sports and news broadcasters; we apply it to surgery.
