Welcome address

Dear colleagues,

Dear friends,

The Hellenic Neurosurgical Society is proud to announce the third vascular and endovascular Hands-On course in Athens.

It is true that only a limited number of neurosurgeons have practical experience in vascular and endovascular treatment strategies. Especially young Neurosurgeons lack insights into the changes and challenges of endovascular therapies thus limiting their Neurosurgical competence.

This course aims at young specialist neurosurgeons and residents as well as neuroradiologists who wish to achieve a microvascular knowledge and understanding of current vascular and endovascular treatment of brain aneurysms.

The faculty consists of experienced vascular and hybrid neurosurgeons, as well as interventional neuroradiologists with a vast experience in endovascular field.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Athens.

Warm regards,

Vasileios  Panagiotopoulos MD, PhD

Professor of Neurosurgery, University Hospital of Patras, Greece Course Director
