Welcome address

Dear colleagues,

The Hellenic Neurosurgical Society is pleased to announce the sixth Microscopic and Endoscopic Skull Base Course and to welcome participants to Greece.

This course is primarily intended for senior combines structured didactic lectures with hands-on cadaveric dissections, aiming to provide comprehensive exposure to the fundamental surgical anatomy and operative approaches required in contemporary skull base surgery.

The faculty comprises experienced neurosurgeons and otorhinolaryngologists with extensive expertise in skull base procedures. Through lectures and practical demonstrations, the faculty will present a range of surgical approaches, including both microscopic and endoscopic techniques, with particular emphasis on endonasal and seller anatomy as well as current operative strategies for skull base pathology.

Upon completion of the course, participants are expected to be able to critically discuss the indication for surgical management of cranial skull base lesions, recognize and describe the standard skull base approaches, and understand the principles of both microscopic and endoscopic endonasal techniques for accessing the anterior, middle, and posterior cranial fossae.

We look forward to welcoming you to Athens for what we anticipate will be a stimulating and educational scientific experience.

Warm regards,
