Neuroscience Dialogue: Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus

The Hellenic Neurosurgical Society welcomes you to the event “Neuroscience Dialogue: Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus”, taking place on Saturday 19 September 2026 at the Lighthouse of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, on the occasion of World Hydrocephalus Awareness Day.

Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus remains one of the most under-diagnosed conditions in our clinical practice — and at the same time one of the few forms of dementia that can be potentially reversible when recognised and treated early. That is precisely why we chose dialogue as the format: instead of monologues, six thematic sessions bring neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuropsychologists and neuroradiologists to the same table, discussing, debating and reaching conclusions together — from epidemiology and differential diagnosis to modern imaging, patient selection, surgical technology and postoperative care.

Our aim is to establish a common language between specialties, with a faster impact on the patient's journey, to create referral networks, and to provide modern, high-quality care for Greek patients. We invite you to take an active part in the discussion.
