rse—the sixth in the established series of practical skull base courses
organized by the Hellenic Neurosurgical Society—offers a comprehensive e
ducational program combining high-level didactic lectures with structured
cadaveric dissections. The course is specifically designed to cover the fu
ndamental surgical approaches and detailed skull base anatomy that form th
e core knowledge base required of every skull base neurosurgeon. Participa
nts will receive systematic training in open and endoscopic skull base tec
hniques\, with a strong emphasis on anatomical orientation\, surgical corr
idors\, and safe operative strategies. Teaching is delivered by a distingu
ished faculty of senior neurosurgeons and otorhinolaryngology (ENT) surgeo
ns\, who will demonstrate key skull base surgical approaches\, as well as
endonasal and sellar anatomy\, highlighting contemporary surgical options
and decision-making principles. Through a balanced integration of theory a
nd hands-on practice\, the course aims to enhance anatomical understanding
\, technical proficiency\, and interdisciplinary collaboration in skull ba
se surgery. The program will be conducted at NeuroLab Athens\, a state-of-
the-art anatomical training facility\, from May 25 to May 27\, 2026.
